Visiting researchers and summer research interns (Open)
We are looking for visiting researchers (2) and research interns (2) with the following modalities.
Work in June and July 2026- Work on recreating two historic experiments: (a) quantitative measurement of Maxwell’s displacement current and (b) Tolman and Stewart’s experiment to predict the masses of electrons and other charge carriers
- These positions will be unpaid
- Full-time, work at PhysLab School of Science and Engineering LUMS
- The researcher should be able to guide other research interns, some of whom can be school students
- Prior qualification for visiting researchers: advanced undergraduate student in physics, electronics, engineering and for research intern: committed A-level/FSc student or undergraduate student
