| Description | |
Scientific advancement in electrochemistry is often hindered by the high cost of commercial instrumentation, which frequently exceeds PKR 3 million. This work addresses this barrier through the design and development of an open-source, “Do-It-Yourself” (D.I.Y.) system costing less than 0.3% of commercial alternatives. The electronic architecture centers on an Arduino-DUE based control system integrated with a custom engineered analog front-end for high-resolution signal conditioning. By optimizing voltage regulation and current to voltage conversion circuits, the system achieves the precision required for complex data acquisition and Validated through cyclic voltammetry on different concentrations of KFCN and 1M KOH, the results demonstrate that a high efficiency analytical tool can be constructed using accessible electronic components. Ultimately, this research democratizes scientific inquiry by providing a flexible, cost-effective platform that bridges the gap between theoretical electronic design and practical electrochemical experimentation. | |
